We all want to keep summer going for as long as possible, but also love the onset of the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. This year is even more reflective as we gather ourselves for further COVID caution and even more awareness around keeping ourselves as healthy as we can.
So what should we be eating at this time of year? With a combination of root vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, legumes, green vegetables, fruit, fish and herbs you can create a warming meal plan to keep you nourished through the season.
What does a great meal plan look like?
Breakfast – make a warming porridge with grated apple and ginger, sprinkled with our honey roasted seeds
Lunch – make a macro bowl from cooked spelt (or another grain) with some root vegetables then season with herbs, spices and our tamari seeds
Dinner – try some steamed fish with fresh greens and black beans, sprinkle our mild chilli seeds over the top
